Filipinos have a selfish, self serving attitudes that generates a feeling of envy and competitiveness toward others, particularly one's peers who seem to have gained some status or prestige. Towards them, the Filipino demonstrates the so-called crab mentality using the leveling instrument of tsismis, intriga, and unconstructive criticism to bring others down. There seems to be a basic assumption that another's gain is one's loss.

The kanya-kanya syndrome is also evident in the personal ambition and drive for power and status that is completely insensitive to the common good. Personal and in-group interests reign supreme. This characteristic is also evident in the lack of sense of service among people in the government bureaucracy.

the public is made to feel that service from these offices and from these civil servants is an extra perk that has to be paid.

The kanya-kanya syndrome results in the dampening of cooperative and the community spirit and in the trampling upon of the rights of others.

its my dream who fulfilled my dream

I was dreaming last night that i celebrated trick or treat together with my friends. We have set a party that everyone has its own unique scary costume. We really had fun. We were screaming because one of our friends prepared scary staff. And then, we walked around the town and visited houses to ask for trick or treat. Happily, they joined us and participated.

And when i woke-up i didn't get over on thinking my dream. Honestly, at this point of my age i didn't try to join or to attend trick or treat activity or Halloween party and experience what i experienced on my dream. Its my dream who fulfilled my dream. I was blessed that i had a wonderful dream last night.

Acquaintance party will help you to boast your self-esteem and increase your confidence, aside from having a new friends when we had an acquaintance, it is an event that everyone wants to enjoy which i experienced last September. There was a dance contest and the theme was dance revolution. When the clinical instructor (C.I) conducted an audition for the dance contest, i rushed to go to have an audition. Happily, i was chosen to be one of the dancers that will represent the level 1. well, just see this video!

I tried to protest the offensive jokes. This is one of my concern. My classmate easily gives jokes which they cant notice that their words hurt and mean for me. Well! Its my fault because i am too good for them and i never realized that they are beyond my limitations. They are my friends that is why it blocks my anger every time they make me as their subject. How often have we said or thought to ourselves, “ thank the lord i'm not like that person!” or “ i wish to heaven i could be as sparkling and as interesting as the boss.”then we drop the thought and go our way. these are my friends. when we captured this picture we were on the place where the volleyball tournament played.we rushed to take the picture because we might hit. then, we went to gym to cheer the representative of our department. the game excites every student who cheer their team. it was a close fight between nursing and commerce.well, we learned so much from that event we didnt expect that the commerce department won the spot.hehehe but the most important that we enjoyed the game so much!well, it is a clean and clear game because the sportmanship on each team was present.

i hate our play

This Sunday morning is our schedule for our play at school, in title “TATARIN”. It costs 150.00 pesos per piece of ticket. The play disappoints half of the population in our school. The play wasn't good enough to satisfy the students some say,''its not worthy paying the ticket as much as the price of local movie ticket '',which is true,we're push to buy the ticket because if we can't watch the play we don't have grade in our midterm. Our university conducts play such like this, because students can't say no in buying the ticket which they don't value learning instead they look-up like their bussiness. Its not a good practice in a country which is freedom to express is imposed.

I am still recovering from my fever. Its been 1 week since my fever started.I lost to much weight because of my fever. I learn to be careful every words that could come out in my mounth.
