Sometimes it is hard to tell where a relationship is going after a few successful dates. Often suddenly, a man will pull away leaving a women to wonder "have I done something wrong?" There are many clues to figure out the inner workings of a man's mind. Think back on the movies when a father would say to the boyfriend, "What are your intentions with my daughter?" In a world where women take care of themselves and don't have the benefit of a protective dad meeting and greeting their potential suitors, it is important for women to devise a system to figuring out a man's "intentions".

When a relationship moves from dating into something more serious, a man may start to contemplate where the relationship is heading. Often he pulls away to analyze the situation and figure out what would be best for both of you. Two specific reasons a man may pull away is because he is either uncertain about the relationship or he is just emotionally unavailable. For a good percentage of men they are not the same problem.
